KHU Resolutions ahead of the 2025 Season

In a communication addressed to the Team Managers of teams playing the respective Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) League, the following are the 2025 KHU league resolutions .

1. KHU 2025 season will kick off. on 15th March 2025.
2. Players will be required to have KHU identity cards that will be given by KHU
3. Passport photo will be required for the KHU identity card, not selfie and sent to KHU before end of next week.
4. Any walk over given out will lead to a fine and displinary hearing.
5. Walk outs will lead to relegation
6. Every team will have to state their home grounds as KHU will not provide any pitch to any team but not later than 1st March, with Nairobi teams encouraged to explore Impala,Parklands, Strathmore, Usiu, and Dashmesh.
7. KHU will have a special team to inspect the pitches given out by teams.
8. There will be 1 National League, no Eastern and Western Zones
9. New aerial rule in trial will be used during the new KHU 2025 league.
10. City park renovation may commence in 1,2, or 3 years, but one’s complete teams will have to pay to use the facility .
